    Evening/Morning Everyone!
This money clip is one of those things that's been around my home for years. I have no idea when or how it ended up it one of my junk drawers, or even where it may have come from.
Either way, I'd like to know what the logo is made of? The clip itself appears to be brass? But the logo was used from 1976 - 2008 so it's not very old. Yet the logo appears to have a cracking appearance in places, I think you'll be able to see in photo #2
I'd love to have your knowledge or guesses about what it's made of?
Thanks everyone, looking forward to hearing from you!

My guess would be Celluloid over paper much like pinback button's have been made from the 1890s to date, could be glass but that would be too easy

      Well Thank You PoliticalPinbacks!
I think your idea makes sense, and celluloid over paper could (I think) explain the crackling look similar to that in old pottery glaze. And considering it's made in USA as well, I'll assume this was made in the earlier years of this particular logos use.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your love & knowledge, much appreciated!

As soon as I saw it in the little pic, I thought, Celluloid.
Celluloid, interestingly, is also what makes up a lot of those kitchen sponges people use on dishes. I was stocking some at work one day and happened to read the package because I got bored. LOL.

      Thanks SpiritBear!
I feel certain it's celluloid. That's two of you now that agree on celluloid.
And I finally remembered to mark it solved.
