The border is correct for later 1800s to early 1900s tokens.
What is the background of the building you found it in?
The house was built in the 1950s.
I wonder if someone was a collector and happened to lose it. I know for a fact that an antique Austrian Heller (small cent) rolled between the wall and my dresser, and then into a crack in the floor down there. I've never been able to get to it, either.
There was an older couple that lived there since it was built, but they recently passed. My money is on them!
