    A netsuke of three little rabbits eating a mushroom. The material is mammoth ivory. It measures almost four inches in length. I bought it about 15 years ago.

      Thank you. I thought about collecting netsuke years ago, but quickly realized, after buying only two, that it was out of my price range. So I've gone back to seeking thrift store treasures under five dollars, lol.

      I imagine your two netsukes are quite valuable Deepseas. They are excellent.
      Thrift (or op shops as we call them) provide satisfaction in so may ways. Cheap retail therapy, we learn from them , we find strange and rare things there, we recycle, and profits go to good causes. Can't do much better than that!
