Just picked up this very nice 4 foot long display case from a local pawn shop that was down sizing. I found it the night before on one of those web sites that you can sell anything. The price was $25.00 and I was surprised to see it was in pretty good condition. I still have the small display case as well, I think, I'm going to need a bigger room soon.

Thank you Celiene. After a life time of office administration and management, it was an easy decision. I am still FASTENATED by the design and workmanship.

They must have been a great innovation back in the day. No having to bind paper. What is the most paper one will staple?

The earliest in my collection of hole punches is from 1890. It is one of the earliest invented. The majority of the punches came out in the late 1890's to early 1900's. Most would do 25 sheets but some were heavy duty and would do more.
Paper fasteners which include eyelet presses, staplers and crimpers date back even further. That is were the innovations are. So many different machines and many are easily available at pretty good prices. Great collectible.

Looks like an amazing collection. And yes displaying is very important and yours are very well displayed.

Excellent. Unusual collections are fascinating (or as you said - fastenating).

It really is nice to have so many of you comment on my collection, I don't get to show it off that often. Thank you. I will share more as I acquire new examples.
