Came across this tin , steel toy which has a patent date on it but no makers name. Wondering if this is a 1909 tin toy and who the maker might be...Thanks for all your time...

Is there a patent number anywhere? guess that would be too easy, Either a great toy any kid would love (even a big one like me) or a salesmen's sample

Looks like it would be fully automatic with the lever to open until the weight lowers the cart then counter weighted back up, Great piece.

Yeah it works great, as you said the counter weight pulls it back up once it empties its load.
