This is a very strange piece i found at Goodwill today. It's an oldish porcelain Quanyin which appears to have been cold-painted with green, shiny paint at one time and it is peeling. I'm thinking about dipping it in paint remover and cleaning it up, but thought i'd post it as is first and get people's feedback. there is a mark on the bottom and a few condition issues. any info appreciated!

It's very beautiful! I would leave it as it is, as usual :-)) But there are probably better ideas :-)
thanks bijou. i don't think i can resist. i can't stand the green paint on her like this. i wonder why it was put on in the first place!?
i am showing it mostly cleaned up. big improvement, i'd say!
