TruTemp Motor Oil Can

I found this old 2 gallon metal motor oil can while walking around in the woods. I know almost nothing about old motor oil cans and I thought it would be neat to learn about this. It's marked "Xtra Duty TruTemp all season Motor oil 100% wax free." the left side, while faded, reads "A truly quality product for top performance in automobiles, trucks, buses, boats, and all internal combustion engines. On the right side, all I can read is TruTemp, and Harco Oil sales Co. Inc. Newark, N.J.
The backside is dented and rusted to the point where there is no label. The front and sides were buried, so the back was the only side facing the elements. I have no Idea how long it's been there, or how it got there. I can also find no mention of it on Harco's site. I doubt it's worth much, especially in the rough condition it is in, but I would like to know more about it.
