    Wanting to figure out what year this is, has a serial number on back without prefix then another in front with an AH. I've tried researching it, but the 2 different serial numbers are throwing me for a loop.

      Look here in goggle: "AH Serial Numbers - Comprehensive Singer Sewing Machine Serial" in ismacs.net site. According to this is a Singer model 15 dated Nov 29 1948

      Yes the AH one is the serial #so your mystery is solved.

      A lot of people get confused by serial numbers on motors. It's the front one on the machine bed that you need.
