I need help figuring out if these are originals and would they be worth anything. All 3 are signed in pencil by H.J. Bachmann, which I believe may be Hans Jr. Two are dated 1929 and the other one is dated 1923. When tilted the black portion of the etching has a shine to it almost like coal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Beautiful! Made by the Danish artist Hjalmar (Oluf Kristian) Bachmann 1880-1940. "Eget Tryk" means "own print" in Danish. So it's the first print he's happy with before starting the series of prints. I am very positive you have the original there, too obscure to be copied is my guess. The strange thing is that the prints you do find on the internet are all "Eget Tryk" so maybe he was happy with just one off. It's really hard to find much info about him and the little there is is written only in Danish.
