This morning, the weather was lousy. I went to a big yearly market and met up with a friend who works in a thrift shop. She brought some silver for me, which is what you see in the photos.
Spider & the fly: 835 silver and marcasites.
835 silver salamander, marked for Holland 1906-1952.
Beautiful German Sterling, marcasite and blue glass brooch. Marked "Ges. Gesch."
Unmarked filigree leaf brooch, most likely silver.
An unusual pendant bought off the local sales website. No marks, but was very tarnished. Looks Art Deco. Cleaned up like silver and leaves a silver streak on my touchstone. I have to take it to Geri for testing as I only have the gold test kit.
Three Euro for the Art Deco pendant and 15 Euro for the rest.

Nice Bonnie, I like the lizard, butterfly, and flowers! :^) That spider and fly is kind of creepy though, it looks more like a tick! :^{ too me! Sorry! :^)
Oh I said butterfly, meant leaf, it reminded me of those filigree butteries! :^)
LOL bill! I'm not quite sure what that pendant is, only that it looks Art Deco in design.
A tick..hahahaha!!! Those sorts of brooches are somewhat uncommon. I didn't find but a couple on the web - get it? Web? :-)))) and neither looked very much like mine.

A great lot here Bonnie, as usual. Spider is a fave, just eclipsed by the blue stone flowers. They are so unusual and beautiful.
Nice pieces-I think my fave is the the blue flower one-very pretty!!

Ken - I thought the pendant was more like a fan. I'm pretty sure it's not silver. I bought it because it's interesting. :-)))
