After the Flea Market on Sunday, I stopped by the Concord, California Antiques Fair. The city has it the 3rd Sunday of the month, from April to September, one of my friends at the Flea, reminded me that the City was having it. I was able to find a few things there, This blended clay pottery vase/cup, was one them, the name on the bottom looks like Byron, but not sure. It has a clear glaze inside, and just over the rim, and the rest is unglazed, the color is the clay/pottery. Any information or ideas on who the potter is? Much appreciated!
Thanks for taking a look, any questions, or comments, welcome! :^)

nerikome! it's an old japanese technique.
    10. ho2cultcha ho2cultcha, 7 years ago
i guess nerikome is a little more complex, because it involves making a repeated design by cutting and pasting sections of agate.
    11. billretirecoll billretirecoll, 7 years ago
Yes h2c, a lot more complex, thank you for your comments! :^)

Here's a Mosaic Pottery Vase by Jean Gerbino Vallauris, on Etsy, like a vase I got a few years ago, also more complex, made more like a coil pot, by stacking the clay, he developed his technique, over years, before he perfected it:

Mine is packed away, and I forgot to photograph it, but the one here is very close! I think mine is nicer though! :^)
