Here is another pattern & maker mystery, for me at least. I have this stunning set of 6 V-Shaped footed tumblers. They measure 5.25" high x 3.5" in diameter. They are decorated with two different beautiful etched leaf designs - one on either side of the glasses - which are connected with a single cut stem. I once thought I saw a picture of these years ago and they were made by Standard Glass Mfg. Co. in the 1940's but quite frankly I have no idea. Again, if anyone knows the pattern name, the maker and a rough idea of the time frame I would be most appreciative

I sort of solved my own mystery. I found these exact glasses listed in a book called Depression Era Dime Store Glass. It doesn't give a name of the manufacturer but it identifies the glass as Artist Cut Glass Crystal Stemware #500 and they were made specifically for Woolworth's Department Stores. This particular crystal was released in January of 1943. The firm commissioned its own designs and had them mass-produced, thousands or sometimes millions of times apparently by different manufacturers.
