I just purchased these the other day, it is so quite similar to the style of Salviati Sommerso for Murano. It is 7 3/4" high base to tail, 4 1/2" from base to head, 4 1/2 inches wide. This is my first Murano piece, or its it? I still love them!

I don't think these are Sommerso, but will await our experts.

Thanks so much Gillian, I'm not sure of the artist as well, but is it even Murano? They "look" so much like other Murano pieces, and I haves no Muran in my collection, I would prefer a "real" one! My experience is limited at best with Murano, so your feedback is appreciated.

Hi, We ALWAYS need a base pic for sure. ANY Art glass piece, the base bottom shot is required for the best possible ID. Take it on a slight angle.

~ Many places now make *Copies* or make * Similar items*. Some Art Glass Made in "another country" ( China, or Brazil ) to make people believe it is Murano - and it is not. This can totally fool the buyer as it is not what they think it is. That is why base pic is always needed. Thanks !!

Sorry, I have been away, but i will take a base shot and really appreciate your input, nonetheless, my stepdaugher loves them so they are her next gift....but I have a so called "Murano" labeled and all, i will post that for your comments. Thanks much!
