Last Thursday, April 27th we celebrated Kingsday. The birthday of
King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands.
The biggest King's Day festivities are the "vrijmarkten" (literally "free markets" or flea markets). Everyone is allowed to sell their stuff on the streets and parks.
I bought these earrings for € 0,50 a pair. From the same seller as my Airoldi butterfly set, bought on Kingsday 2015. But this time I knew these earrings are gold plated on silver. I will place a link to my butterfly set in the comments.

I was selling jewelry on King's Day. Took a table in Geleen centrum. I ended up with about 150 Euro for the day. Not next year, however. I was POOPED at the end of the day!
I was looking for jewelry. Went to 3 "vrijmarkten" in Ede with my son and daughter. (The only day in the year they go along with me). We started at 06.00 and were back home at 14.00.) I didn't feel my legs anymore but I found some nice jewelry.
I would have loved to join, sounds like endless fun! A cool set you got!
