This pretty unit belonged to my nan and we were using it up until 2 years ago when we moved house and there simply wasn't room for it in the house - hence it ended up in the garage under cover. I've no idea of what age it is, what wood it's made out of, pretty annoyed to find quite a bit of the beading around the edges that appears to have been knocked off in the move.
There's one big shelf in the bottom cabinet and 3 shelfs in the top and a lock and key to both top and bottom. The top and bottom parts are detached and the top part sits in a little recess.
Any information about our cabinet would be lovely, thank you.
Some detailed photos would be helpful.
Photos of the interior bottom, the hinges and the back would be a great start.

Hi Scott, sorry for the delay in replying, short version, took images on phone, phone dropped out of pocket, was destroyed, have only just been able to get images.
I've included an image of hinge and other bits, does this help?
