From a wonderful road trip in 2008, regional museum in an old bank bldg., Deadwood, South Dakota. I saw a group of pheasant corsages made by Mrs. John Goering. I couldn't get a good photo through the display case and wrote the museum later for a photo and permission to share. (I wish they would have taken a close-up of one, oh well) The curator told me these were made for charity dances circa 50's-60's. Gorgeous hand made corsages from pheasants feathers of the area. Each one unique and each about 3" to 4" - delicate.
I tried to enlarge one of them....not a great picture.
Picture 3 roaming around the park just happened to present itself later that day at Mt. Rushmore.
