THIS WAS GIVEN TO ME. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT, BUT I LOVE THE DETAIL IN HER FACE.(SORRY ABOUT COOLER IN BACKGROUND!) I NEED TO TOUCH UP A SMALL PART OF THE LEAF THAT'S BEEN CHIPPED, OTHER THEN THAT IT LOOKS GREAT. I CAN'T MAKE OUT THE SIGNATURE ON BOTTOM, WHICH IS TOO BAD BECAUSE IT MIGHT GIVE ME AN IDEA OF IT'S AGE.

      Hi from Sydney, Australia!
You have a figure by Carlo Mollica, lucky you! Nice gift. Mollica was one of a long line of Italian potters that worked at Capodimonte. He worked there from the late 1920's on to the late 1970's (1978). His work is becoming more and more popular.
