This is a statue that I had listed earlier this week on Ebay. Ebay removed the listing because Warner Brothers complained about it saying it infringed on their Copyright? I have researched this for quite some time and have not been able to find the same statue anywhere. It stands 14" tall and weighs approx 4 lbs. We started this listing at $5.99 and after 2 days it was at $200.00 with 5 days left to go in the auction before Ebay pulled the listing. Any info on this statue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is there anything on the bottom of the stand?
    2. superjake, 13 years ago
there was a 1 inch square (pricetag? no bar code) that had been pealed off. The stand is made of wood. Pine I think.

Dumb question but have to ask. Are there any small words or markings anywhere on the statue that might help identify it? Also have you tried to contact any of the bidders from eBay and see if they know something about it that might help?

yep, there's a big S on his chest lol, no there are no marks whatsoever. As far as the bidders on Ebay, when they remove a listing, it's gone, I can't even view it again to see who had bid on it. I also contacted the Superman Museum in IL and the guy said he had never seen it either, emailed pictures for the owner to look at, maybe he had seen it before? Thought if anyone would know, they would.

if you go to the comic book superman section of this site you will see how it appeared on ebay, 20 watchers and 9 bids in 2 days
