    Originally many collectors and auction houses ( like Dr. Fischer) thought these vases were made by Loetz. I bought this one a few years ago thinking the same.
    However further research shows that these vases were actually made in Bavaria, Germany by the company named above. Iridescent art glass in the Art Nouveau style was produced for about ten years starting in 1901.
