This was my last find in a charity shop. Its too sunny today to get a good glow on it, but it is a very thick heavy uranium glass. I have not managed to identify this one so help would be great!

I have recently found this bowl on ebay labelled Sowerby Hexagonal bowl, but at the moment I can't find any info to back this up.

the basket weave motif and edge design do seem to match the 2953 celery vase on this catalog page:
      http://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/glass_catalogues/sowerbyglass_catalogues/sowerbyglass_catalogue_1954-02.htm

some listings calling it Sowerby 'Pentagonal'

I think I meant to say Pentagonal! Thank you Tallcakes for that link, and well found. I am not sure about there being Uranium glass made in the UK after the war. I have a feeling most Uranium was confiscated.
