23"x 9"x 10 ½" this box was found at a garage sale in Huntington Beach California in 2009. The surface material is dark green, and looks like a faux leather. The interior is lined with red felt. There is a mirror in the top of the hinged lid between the cantilever trays. The bottom of this box is also red but more of a fabric and less of a felt.
The outside is embellished with gold dotted paint. The hardware: locks, swinging handles, and hinges are brass colored and work perfectly.
I wish to learn anything about this piece. It's beautiful and rather stoic in its appearance.

Thank you Scottvez. Any idea as to the county of origin? There are no stamps on it anywhere. Late century do you think it's from the 80s or 90s?
Earlier than that I'd think - mid 50's to 60's
