Antique show and flea market each month a short ride east of Lexington, KY. I have a weakness for the old talking machines. This guy had this great exhibit . Wish I could show more, but only 4 pix so I'll show what would fit in.
Love that dog, Nipper? nice dispaly
Was it ever confirmed where Nipper was buried ? (Hoping not to get that old conflict going)
Aww didn't know he died, gotta be The SK Pet Cemetery,
wasn't even sure of the name
Think it was CW where 1 person swore he was buried in London & another saying, I believe, Philly.
great display BB2
I used to be set up near, and have done business with him at the old tobacco warehouse show here in Lex. years ago. Always had tip top merch. displayed in very tidy fashion as you can see. Where were these pics taken bb2? Not familiar with any picking east of here!
Thomas, I could use a new liver. LOL ! Hotair, I think everybody who has antique fever likes the old Victors, Edisons etc.. They just scream, another era. Nick, this is at the old schoolhouse in Athens. 2nd weekend every month. Thought we might have a beer at that German/Amer. place but couldn't find your number & when I went by the pub, it was gone. I mean, really gone with only the sign left !
Love this! Reminds me of the Edison museum in Ft. Myers, FL
Can't believe I forgot about the Athens schoolhouse show! Same promoter that used to run the tobacco warehouse show. Yea, Marikka's been bulldozed but they are rebuilding. Check out the retro sign I just made for the auto repair shop next door.
Check your email. Like the musician joke from Thomas!
Curling fans, I have no Wi-Fi where I'm staying until end of next week as they rewire the building. Been without since last week, so I'm not ignoring people intentionally." No phone, no pool, no pets, - - ain't got no cigar-ettes".
Wow, such an amazing pieces!
Whising you stay ok blunder in those moments.
