While spun glass was never my favorite, this piece is so intricately involved that I had to have it. When I was a kid I used to watch glass blowers in the Hicksille Farmer's Market in Long Island, New York blow glass at their booth. I was fascinated by the process, but never cared for the result. Now they make more beautiful and detailed items. This piece measures 4.25" x 6.5". I do not like to take this piece out of my china cabinet as it is so delicate that little pieces easily break off. Do not know when or where it was made. Pretty sure it is American.
