    does anyone know where these baskets were made? whover made them, did a wonderful job. they stack perfectly inside each other and are very sturdy.

      I think I still have one of these just like the largest here. It's not large, maybe 6-7". I always had the impression it was from India. Don't know why, but it's just what I felt. These appear to have been set in or near a window, a bit of color loss. The last time I saw mine (that sounds really bad, like it's lost in who knows where!) the colors were still vibrant. I'm thinking I got it in the early 70's and it wasn't new.

      thanks shareurpassion and valentino! but there's very little, if any color loss on my set. i can tell by comparing them to the inside ones which have been protected from the light.
