Handmade 108-year-old beaded pin cushion

This pin cushion (at least I was told it was a pin cushion) was given to my brother when he was a baby by an old neighbor because he loved to play with when he visited and it was over 60 years old at the time. This is in remarkable condition for being 108 years old, as dated on the underside of the tail. Non of the beads are loose or falling off although some of the material on the underside of the wing is torn.
