I just love glass with a fiery passion <3 all kinds as long as they are not just plane and clear. But my favourite is blown because it can change color in different lights and from different angles. Bought for 90 cents in fjölsmiðjan, iceland. Just love that store they sell everything so cheap. Anyway, i tried gooling it and found no info exept that is is a paperweight. As always if you know anything more about it...that would be sweet :) Thanks for looking

Does anyone know if you can fix glass? There was another one there with the top off the stem broken but was thinking about buying it

It's beautiful; great quality and possibly Murano. Generally the Scandinavians sign or mark their works like this.
It's difficult to fix glass without seeing the mend. If it was just the stem you may be able to file it down or even add some glass by lamp working, but thermal shock can be an issue when heating a small section of a large piece.

It is just the top off the stem...like 4mm. If i turn it in different derection i can not see it.

Viking girl I love it. I have 5 now, one of them had a tiny hole at the stem I took some sandpaper and gently sanded down the broken area at the stem. I put on a pair of thick rubber work gloves & did it over the utility sink and it looks great. I'll post pics soon.
