After Mom passed in March of this year, I inherited all of hers and her Mother's jewelry. There is a bit of fine jewelry, albeit, inexpensive fine jewelry but more fascinating is the large amount of costume jewelry. 90% of the costume jewelry belonged to my Grandmother.
She was born in early 1900's, so jewelry would have likely been accumulated from 30's to 70's (mid 70's). She died in early 80's. She seemed to LOVE brooches/pins, Canadian Maple leaves, etc.
This is another pin from her collection. As with the others, I have no clue on time period and have found no marks yet. I used the magnifier app on my cell phone and found a mark on another pin..so without the loupe I ordered arriving yet, I have found no mark at this time.
Some of the seed/faux pearls looked dark to me on one side so I took a pic of that side and they looked fine. I do see that I'm missing one.
Valentino97 - I'll have to see if there might be matching earrings. I am finding that quite a few of her pins had matching earrings.
