This Victorian novelty sugar crusher is made from pale yellow, opalescent uranium glass, which glows brightly under UV light.
It measures 13.7 cm in length & 2.7 cm across the base.
This item appealed to me because of the hand - as I collect hand vases, it was a must - have. English origin

      Many thanks, racer4four! :-)
I thought these two rather oddball pieces would make an interesting double post.
Glass sugar crushers are fairly rare, presumably due to fragility, but this hand shaped one is also a fine example of the unwitting Surrealism & often bizarre humour of Victorian design.

I think you can put this is the Vaseline Glass category.
