I have looked at identifying glass producers using elements of design (decor identification). There are many decors that mimicked each other across many glass producers; so shapes became a very important part of the identification process. Here are a few shapes that seem similar, only upon close inspection do you see the differences. All of these samples were contemporaries 1920- mid 1930's
1. Welz-Kralik - Footed bee hive shape (L-R)
2. Unknown - Welz - Atomic shape
3. Welz - Kralik - Squatty bee hive shape
4. Kralik - Welz - Baskets

I love the comparisons. I collect perfume bottles and run into similar nuances. There can be something very minuscule about the differences, and the novice collector can't see it. I can only speak for myself, but I think many collectors tend to be a little OCD in a good way. That's how we can see these differences even at a distance. Great collection and I am enjoying looking at your photos.
