    This is a fairly large compot or Bonbon dish, with a pretty Fleur de Lis pattern. It is pressed glass but thats about all I know about it. If anyone knows the maker and age, that would be great.

      Actually, I have just found that the pattern is identical to the Inwald Glassworks Fleur de Lis pattern. Inwald is a Czech glassworks.

      Hi, yes you are correct, this is one part of an optional two piece set, I believe yours is the sugar bowl that marries up with the compote bowl. But put together they form a pedestal bowl. Very clever design. I have both pieces, yet, having found a catalogue that gives the dimensions, mine seems to be a lot larger. I use mine as a pedestal fruit bowl.
