Does anyone have some knowledge of this cooler? It was my great-grandfathers and I recently restored it. One side (pictured) hasnt been painted yet. I cant seem to find this exact cooler on the internet. Mine doesnt have a tray, and doesnt have a drain spout. The logo seems larger on the box compared to others as well. When I glass beaded the cooler to take the old paint off, we found silver paint underneath. Dont know if my grandfather had painted it or not though. Finally, how do you paint the letters? I hand painted these and you can clearly see the strokes left behind. Maybe a ink roller? It is approx 8.5" deep x 11.5" wide x 12"high. I found my great grandfathers name written on the side of the cooler when the paint came off which would date it to about 1930-40?

Thanks Ray, I understand about restoring old things and value. I , however, am never selling this and really dont care what its worth. I restored it to be a cool magazine holder in my restroom. had I not glass beaded it, i would have never have found my great grandfathers name. Until then, I thought this was my grandfathers cooler.

I wouldn't use it in a bathroom - they are metal and will rust.
