I got this rare toy from a antique toy store, this store has lots of old toys from the 1930's-1970's .
I paid $35.00 for this toy.
as I stated this is a mickey mouse fire truck, as it reads mickey mouse on the hood of the car, but there's a problem, where's Mickey ? is that Donald and one of his nephews?
No. The nephews where never on this toy.
This toy is supposed to have mickey in front in the driver seat, and Donald ducks head in back.
This rare toy is all original.
The head was not added, there is no signs of messing with, no glue or rips in the rubber holding on the head or any repairs done to this toy anywhere.
Iv'e seen a lot of this toy (mickey mouse fire tuck) around but never with two Donald ducks, I have a rare factory error Mickey mouse fire truck.
Thank you for posting! I found one with a Donald head too and it does not seem to be tampered with either! Good to know there was a factory error...
Your Mickey Mouse fire truck with Donald Duck driving is NOT a factory error. They made one of each and as a kid back in the 1950's we had both, Donald driving one and Mickey the other. I still have the one Mickey is driving and somewhere along the way of many moves I lost the one of Donald driving. I kept it as it is one of very few toys from the 1950's that I have and probably because it is a Disney character.
