    I think that this is an early one because it's much heavier than others i have. Probably a California piece. it's so much sturdier than my other ones.

      Mush have solid legs? that would account for the weight and make it more rigid, Looks like the tiny baby fawn that was in the yard this morning he was shorter then the grass (just off the mowed area)

      This planter is known as "Fawn, no mark" by Shawnee Pottery. It should be around 6 inches in height according to my reference material. This is not a California piece. Shawnee Pottery was based in Zanesville, Ohio. I hope this helps.

      This looks similar to pieces from McCoy's Stretch animals line
