    Bought this about 20 years ago at one of my first auctions. No shade so I thought this was appropriate. Moved at least 6 times but she doesn't seem to mind. No marks.

      The shade looks great on your wonderful mare - great carving. Chinese do you think? The trappings make me think that anyway.

      i think the horse is traditional in nature. whether it is Chinese originally? not sure but the detail is great! I love this lamp!
