Since 2012 we know about the fact that Fritz Heckert in Petersdorf did not only refine glass but produced hot finished glass in the Art Nouveau period. The drawing books nos. 400 and 500 (excerpts published in 2012) contain a series of patterns marked Th with consecutive numbers. These patters represent glass shapes, which most probably have been produced solely at the furnace without further decoration.
Two decor names could be identified by means of the patterns: "Changeant" (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/137836-revealed-changeant--original-name-of-t) and "Marmopal" (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/142411-fritz-heckert-marmopal-decor-finally-co). Other names on the patters, like "Victoria", "Smaragd", or "Aurora" could not be identified with certain decors yet.
We can observe that some decors had been produced in large numbers, others seem to be very rare. According to a remark of Gustav Pazaurek in his book "Moderne Gläser" (Modern Glasses) from c1901 we know that Heckert was quite inventive with designs and decors. The glassworks changed designs frequently. One which was not sucessful on the market disappeared within a short period of time. This would explain why certain decors are rare, others are more popular.
I have found a "new" silver-red decor with large spots, which can be attributed to Fritz Heckert. This decor seems to be rare as I could only detect a few examples. All are part of the Th series in the pattern book 500 with numbers close together.

First image: Two vases Th 134 with the well known Heckert spiral pattern and the "new" silver-red decor.
    Second image: pattern Th 134.
Third image: Vase Th 133, photo courtesy of auction house Dr. Fischer.
Fourth image: Vase Th 138, photo courtesy of Henry's auction house.

If someone has another example with this decor, please post a photo. Thank you.

Volkmar, Great work on discovering this new Heckert decor. I have been collecting photo examples of it over the years and didn't know until today who made these. Thank you! I will email you photos of three additional examples of this decor. BTW, I have found several instances where I have found "XVII" engraved on the pontil of this decor. Not sure if this is a spurious mark or something done at the factory.
