I found this in a local shop today. there is something about it that I really like. I cannot find any information on this artist, unfortunately.

Beautiful painting. I've searched all american artists with the last name beginning with "C" and can find nothing on this artist. Perhaps someone else will have better luck. Nice find!
jscott, Thank you. The painting I was planning on posting today is now " lost in the mail" but I found this one today and I really love it!
I have a funny feeling that is 'cobb'. I looked for codd and found nothing either then took another look at the signature and if you look at the third letter, the middle of it resembles a heart which to me confirms my thought on it. I'll see if I can find "S Cobb" and let you know.
