Loetz first produced Ausf 157 in 2914 in shapes designed by Michael Powolny- a designer of applied arts. This decor may or may not have been designed by him. Initially the series came in white with black stripes, crystal with black stripes, cobalt with orange stripes and white with cobalt stripes. I could be wrong on this because I'm going off of memory and my memory is off- so I'm told...

These are later designs inspired by Powolny and made in many colors and shapes.

The Last piece is a large bowl with piping to the rim and foot, this example shows how I store and catalog glass... in large paint buckets.

Hi malkey, I want to stress that none of these were probably designed by MP (maybe the bowl) but rather they are a clear extension on a designers influence both in. Plots and shape. I know some purists do for the pieces matching line drawings and original colors but I tend to like this later stuff

Love the periwinkle and green. What a great color combo!
