Nothing seems to annoy people when I tell them what this sort of glass is not. Starts with a V and is also called Canary Glass. This is not that. This is green glass and most likely from the 1930s. Yes it glows.
This is a divide relish or candy dish. It is 8" wide. There is no makers mark on the glass or metal basket. The favorite remark I got on that when looking it up was that there were many makers making similar pieces.
Bought this from one of my favorite Rose Bowl sellers. She is so pleasant it seems the thing to do. Plus the prices are good.
I have this same one but in pink! Very nice add to your collection!

I have one also just like this. I inherited it from my mother. She was married in 1949 and I know she bought it new, so I think this is from the 1950"s
