We found 2 of these signs in their original shipping container while remodeling an old railroad terminal that was a Mobil station. The signs are in perfect condition and have never been used. We almost threw the crate away as it looked empty. I have no idea what period it is from or what Wadhams really was.

Wadhams was bought out by Vacuum oil in 1930,Vacuum merged with Socony in 1934,and started using the pegasus logo in 1934 along with Mobilgas-Wadhams products, and in 1946 the Socony-Vacuum Co.started eliminating the regional brand names ,so I would say this is '34-'46 .Wadhams was a Milwaukee based co. I hope this helps ,I LOVE THIS SIGN!!!!
