Ms.Crystal…

This makes #5 in my musical figural collection from D & E. This lovely little violin is nearly 3 inches long and has the "wire-over" construction. (Photo two) Lovely condition from a friend collector and seller. Got it for a song! So now I have the Clarinet, ( most likely only one out there), a lute, a saxaphone, ( also could be only one left out there) and a banjo. Still looking for that 4 " cello, and sitar, and electric guitar... Sigh never ends... But thats all the fun right? ENJOY!
UPDATE: I have learned through some deep research that Anthony Delizza designed this wonderful violin!
Circa-1965!
What a beauty and so hard to find...Lucky you to have it ! :)
Yes Ken, D & E figurals are becoming harder and harder to find. Once they wind up in someones collection such as ours, they stay there. Hopefully I will be able to collect the rest, we shall see. I would really love the "Under the Sea" and Christmas sets. D & E only made four Christmas pieces for only one season. They are as elusive as the unicorn! A while back I saw the double bell and it went fast and for $$$! Did you see the Angel Fish Ballstonlake found at a thrift store? Wow! So happy for her, incredible find. That shows you, anything is possible in the hunt.

Hi Eileen, I tried to love this again ad I couldn't:) Superb piece! Love it and love it again!
Hi Maureen!
I was just doing some research and my iPad “dinged”.
I have a new instrument coming, stay tuned!
Also I have discovered that this violin was designed by Anthony Delizza—circa-1965!
Thank you for your love and support, means the world to me, my friend!
Special thanks to all that loved Anthony’s Violin!
