I just got this brooch today. It is a rather large brooch with different shaped and colored rhinestones. This brooch is not marked. Does anyone have any idea of maker?

That's just gorgeous...I was thinking Weiss, they didn't sign all of their jewelry. :)

I believe Ken is correct... Weiss

The domed shape, dog-tooth prongs and cupcake settings speak more to me of Schreiner, or made in Austria, both often unsigned.

By the way, you should clean the verdigris off this piece, and keep it away from other jewelry, it can spread to other pieces.

It's beautiful. Yes, get that verdigris off right away. It will corrode the metal and damage other jewelry if it is allowed to spread. White vinegar and a soft toothbrush should remove it.

Absolutely stunning! I live the deep, rich color! What a beautiful piece to add to your collection.

um...what is verdigris (yes, I could google but I popped in for quick minute in between meetings)

Thanks to everyone for the love, info and suggestions. I will be cleaning brooch soon. Ran out of vinegar a few days ago :)
