    This is a vintage Ray-O-Vac flashlight apparently made out of copper. Originally it was chrome plated but most of that is gone revealing the copper color underneath. It is powered by 2 C Cell batteries. This one is a bit dim so it needs a new pair but still works.
    The patent is from 1930. It does look old enough to be from the 1930s or 40s.

      That's really very neat!! I remember, as child, my father always kept a very similar design Ray-O-Vac flashlight in his truck.
