I have a cast iron lamp base that was made for a leaded glass slag lamp somewhere around 1900. It has a Mark that looks like a capital B back to back with a cross above it. I have not been able to find the manufacturer of this lamp and would be eternally grateful to anyone who could help me identify the mark.

Its called a seal which a lot of companies imprinted on the base of metal lamps to show the foundry seal who made the lamp. Of course if you look up on the brain dead internet, it would show a picture of a seal animal lamp !
