My glass clown with ceramic feet is about 9" tall and 3 1/2" wide at the feet. This clown is solid glass with the lamp broken off. This clown has no markings.
In my research and gathering opinions, many aren't sure if Murano true glass clowns are all glass or if they used ceramic feet at some point in the past. Would you know the company that made this clown?
Your input about the ceramic feet would be greatly appreciated. is this a non-Murano company thing to make ceramic feet and glue the two together or did Murano do this at some past time? Thank you for your time, Charles.

Are you sure the feet are ceramic? It's just not a thing I have ever seen even on clowns from Italy, Japan or China. Lots of work in this boy!

Are you certain the feet are ceramic and not black glass?

I'm sure it's ceramic. You can't leave finger nail marks on glass. But if you look at the picture of the clown feet near the middle and to the right, those whitish lines are my fingernail marks I made in trying to chip off some of the remaining glossy surface. That's why I was asking if Murano ever used preformed ceramic feet in their history. If they didn't, then some company did. I did an image search and only saw a couple other clown feet that had the same dullness mine does and they called their clowns Murano. I sent Murano a question but no response as of yet.
