This was another one of my finds, this past weekend at the Flea Market, it's a full size hand shaped copper store display form, or just an art piece.
It's a 2 1/2" copper pipe shape, with a hand shape molded on the end. It looks to be one piece of copper, with no seams. It has a lacquer over an acid wash finish(makes it look like wood), and is 15" tall, with a slight flair on the 2 1/2" open end, tapering to 3/4" at the fingers, and is 5" from thumb to finger through the hand.
A cool piece for glove, ring, or bracelet, display. You may see it again sometime! :^D

So this turned out to be a Rubber Glove Mold. Turned into a "Steam Punk Art piece"! Or something for a Coffee Table, or Shelf! :^)

My guess - this is a form used in the manufacture of rubber gloves.
Yes artfoot, I thought that at first, but the surface finish was made to be seen, unless it's an old mold, refinished as a piece of art work! :^D

looks like it could have been a mold copper would cool the latex fast? handy
