    No good setup to take a picture of this ring today.

    I can see 925 on the inside of the ring, I doubt the picture will come out well enough to tell. There is another mark that looks like an 'A' or a triangle.

    I need to hunt down the loupe I tried to use (it is much harder to use a loupe than it seems it should be).

    As y'all know, I love garnets so this ring was right up my alley.

      Put the loupe directly against your camera lens and focus through the loupe. That's how I do it. :-)))))

      Pretty ring! Don't get it wet - Marcasites are an iron composite and will rust.
