    I found this today. it's 10 inches across and quite heavy - very thick and well-made. I think it was designed by Herb Cohen at Hyalyn and produced in the 1950s.

      Hyalyn made some beautifully designed products in the 1950-70s that really deserve a wider recognition.

      Herb Cohen in particular! his work is amazing and he's had a very long life to produce lots of great pieces.

      is that a tenmoku glaze on the interior of the bowl? they look like oil spots.
