    John White had a soda water factory located at 1424 or 1429 N. 19th street in St. Louis, Missouri from about 1887 til 1905.
    Shown are two early bottles circa 1880-1890 and one later one from around 1900 or so.

      I like the early applied blob top bottles, and showing the one that's a little newer with them, gives you an idea, why they're called Blob Top Bottles! Nice post! :^)

      Thanks to all for the love taps. Hard to believe that the span in age of these three bottles is only about 25 years.

      The Southern/Western portions of the U.S. were behind the North East in glass manufacturing and retained traditional methods much longer. As such, you see applied blobs into the 1890s in the less advanced regions and from smaller glass-blowers.
