    Purchased this vanity today. I believe it's Burl Wood. The inside of the drawers are cedar and has original mirrors. Other than that, I don't know any other information about it. Do you think it's rare and about what year do you think it was made?

      It looks from the art deco period, around 1925 to 1930. England in particular used a lot of burled walnut on their furniture (like your piece) and were the first to make use of cocktail cabinets when the use of servants dwindled. Many of the cocktail cabinets used burled walnut. I have bought several over the years.

      Beautiful Deco!

      Looks to have been well cared for. Probably came in a set when originally sold.
