A lovely art glass bowl ... 11 1/2" diameter, 6" height. Interesting iridescent swirl or drape pattern plus white opalescent designs. Four feet; has a pontil mark on bottom. Does not ring when tapped; glass seems thin perhaps of a brittle quality. SO ... is this a "Made in China" or perhaps a late Czech piece??? Can't find any like it on internet searches so far. Pretty colors, unusual piece nonetheless. WHAT'S YOUR OPINION? Thanks.

I can only confirm that part of this item description is called stretch glass----notice what looks like veins or bare tree limbs??that is a type of technique used to form hand done art glass......hope this helps a bit ....its very unique

Yes that's it! thanks for the reminder (couldn't think of the term when posting! Stretch glass used by Fenton and Northwood a lot). Now ... hmm ... I wonder if the technique is used in China glass like one sees at TJMaxx & Marshall's ... or Czech glass. This doesn't look like American glass unless from an art studio. I'm stumped by this bowl as far as origins go. THANKS again for your comment :-)

I discovered a signature on one of the feet "J Deanda" ... this piece is by JOE DEANDA master glassmaker at DOLLYWOOD!!! He does makes really beautiful art glass objects!!!
